Who is Anahat Singh ?
Anahat Singh born on 13 March 2008 in New Delhi. Her father Mr. Gursharan Singh and her mother Mrs. Tani Vadehra both used to play field hockey. Her uncle is a Tennis player. Initially she started playing Badminton was inspired by P.V. Sindhu.

She also played some tournaments of Squash with her sister Amira, Anahat shifted to Squash casually. At the age of 14 Anahat represented India in Commonwealth Games 2022 as youngest athlete.
In 2019, She won in U11 category at British Junior Open. After that Dutch, European and Scottish Junior Open titles in same year 2019.
Then in 2021, She defeated Jayda Marei from Egypt in United States Junior Open and many more in upcoming years.
On 25 July 2026, she became first Indian athlete to win World Junior Squash Championship. She defeated Egypt's Ruqayya Salem with 3-0. India's 21 years wait ended yesterday since Joshna Chinappa was runner up finish in the year 2005.
Anahat Singh has made the entire nation proud by becoming the first Indian to win the World Junior Squash Championship. Her success is the result of her hard work, determination, and love for the game. This historic achievement has opened a new chapter for Indian squash and will encourage many young sportspersons to believe in themselves and aim high.
